Clive StowClive Stow

Clive Stow commenced his tennis coaching career in 1987 after completing a course at West Hants Tennis Club in Bournemouth. Notably, he shared the course experience with Nicky, the mother of Britain’s No. 1 player, Jack Draper.

While working at HM Land Registry in Weymouth as a Higher Executive Officer, Clive actively participated in his free time in LTA tournaments and leagues for local clubs in the South Dorset Area. His achievements include multiple victories in the Dorchester Tennis Club Men’s Singles and Weymouth LTC Doubles, as well as securing the over 60 Men’s Singles title at East Dorset LTC in Poole in 2022. He still regularly attends County Training Sessions for Dorset.

Following his retirement from the Civil Service, Clive transitioned back into coaching and currently holds the title of an LTA Accredited coach. He is extensively involved in coaching at Weymouth Tennis Club, Melcombe Regis Tennis Club, and the Wey Valley Tennis Centre, primarily overseeing Adult and Disability training Sessions. Clive also delivers tennis sessions for the mental health charity, Sport in Mind, and  played a pivotal role in mentoring a young player at Weymouth LTC, aiding them in passing the LTA Assistant course.
